About Nolan Consulting Group

Nolan Consulting Group was formed in 2003 to help contractors plan and implement business systems to achieve more consistent and predictable results and to realize profitable growth. We focus on organizational development (getting the leader out of the hour glass) and implementation methods. Kevin Nolan, of Nolan Painting, Inc, a $5 Million residential painting contractor, has teamed with his brother Brian, an experienced business executive, to provide real life solutions to issues facing growing companies.

These services are delivered through a peer oriented membership program called The Summit. What is Summit?

Brian J. Nolan Brian J. Nolan
Brian is Managing Director of Nolan Consulting Group. He has 17 years experience in business planning, financial management, project management, quality improvement and business systems development. He was formerly Chief Operating Officer for Baltimore Medical System and Vice President of Operations at Fortis, Inc. Brian has received quality improvement certifications from both the Diamler Chrysler Corporation and Florida Power & Light. He received a BS in Marketing from St. Joseph's University and a Masters in Business from The George Washington University. Brian, his wife and three children reside in North Wales, Pennsylvania.

Kevin J. Nolan Kevin J. Nolan
Kevin is President of Nolan Painting, Inc., a 5 million dollar a year, 80 plus person residential painting company. Nolan Painting has won many awards including the Chamber of Commerce "Business of the Year", the PDCA's "Picture it Painted Professionally" Award, and the Wharton Business School's "Fastest Growing Companies" Award. Kevin is a national speaker and writer on numerous topics, including: Business Systems, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and Team Building. Kevin is a graduate of Villanova University. He is a marathon runner and father of four children.

Patrick Baldasare Patrick Baldasare
Patrick Baldasare has been in the information services, CRM and data mining field since 1980. He recently sold @RISK, Inc. a company that he founded in 1999 that specialized in building pattern recognition systems that would predict which customers were likely to defect, three months before they did so. Prior to this venture he was founder and CEO of The Response Center (TRC), one of the nation's largest full service market research and consulting firms. Mr. Baldasare founded TRC in 1987, leaving his position as president of Valley Forge Information Service. Mr. Baldasare holds an MBA from the State University of New York at Albany and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton.

Andrew Amrhein
Andrew AmrheinAndrew is a Consulting Associate with Nolan Consulting Group. He has been with the company since December of 2005. Andrew came to Nolan Consulting after working as a Sales Representative for Pella® Windows and Nolan Painting, Inc. Andrew has earned an MBA in Entrepreneurial Studies and New Ventures from Penn State University, Great Valley, with core competencies in organizational change management and managerial accounting. Previously, Andrew earned a B.S. from Penn State University, State College, and began his professional career as a Class "A" member of the PGA of America. Working as an Assistant Golf Professional at several Golf Digest® Top 100 golf clubs across the country, Andrew gained significant experience in the service industry, including business planning and customer service management. Andrew currently lives with his wife, Kate, in Conshohocken, PA.

Steve Nafranowicz Steve Nafranowicz
Steve Nafranowicz is the Chief Financial Officer of Nolan Painting, Inc. and has been involved with Nolan Consulting Group since 2004. Steve began his career with Nolan Painting in 1992 as a Painter's Trainee and has excelled in the positions of Painter, Crew Leader, and Estimator/ Salesperson during his career with Nolan Painting. As the CFO of Nolan Painting, Inc., Steve ensures there are the financial tools in place to measure operational and sales productivity and to maintain financial profitability. Steve resides in Erdenheim, PA with his wife Diane and has two children, Alex and Adam.

Conal Mulreany
Conal MulreanyConal Mulreany was born in Donegal, Ireland and emigrated to the United States in 1986. For the last 14 years he has helped Nolan Painting Inc. become one of the nation's most renowned and respected residential painting companies. As Crew Leader, he was known for running large and multiple jobs at the same time. Currently, as Nolan Painting's Field Supervisor, Conal manages Crew Leaders as well as dozens of painters to insure that the company's high standards are upheld. Conal has been a member of Nolan Painting's Advisory Board since it's inception in 2000. He is currently serving as Chairman of the Training Committee, responsible for developing and delivering new hire and skills training for the company. Previously, he chaired the Production Committee, leading a team to help make the company more profitable. In 2004, Conal teamed with Nolan Consulting Group, Inc. to train painting companies nationwide. He also speaks on topics such as the role of the Crew Leader and the importance of great customer service. Conal resides in Havertown, PA with his wife Terry and two children, Melissa and Ryan.

Jim Falk
Jim Falk has been with Nolan Painting as an Estimator/Salesman for five years, while serving on Nolan Painting's advisory board for seven years. As a member of Nolan Painting's advisory board, he now serves as Incentives Committee chairperson. Jim is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Sales Advantage program, as well as the Sandler based sales systems, and has earned his degree in Business Administration. He has worked as a sales trainer and associate coach for Summit for three years. As a sales coach, he stresses the importance of developing good questions to understand the prospects buying motives and criteria, as well as developing a system where the salesperson can remain in control, rather than the prospect. Jim is a native of Philadelphia, and now resides in Springfield, PA, with his wife Jean, and his two children, James and Mason.
